The Person:

- Degree in Supply Chain, Commerce or Procurement.
- CIPS Registration and/or qualification would be an added advantage.
- Min 3 to 5 years experience in a Sourcing/Category specialist role.
- Procurement in an International environment and exposure to the procurement of capital goods and MRO pref.

- Develop sourcing strategies and roadmaps for the procurement of capital goods, spares and related services.
- Drive and promote a Capex framework for the Group that ensures agile delivery and takes into account risk management.
- Manage daily capital procurement requirements.
- Support the alignment with the Capex Team to agree accountability and deliver technically based value to major Capex projects, i.e. deliver both Opex and Capex value.
- Scope and source at a Global level.
- Responsible for Contract Management:
- Plan and execute RFQ and tenders.
- Develop negotiation strategies and participate in negotiations to ensure the lowest Total Cost of Ownership for the Group.
- Draft and finalise contracts within the management guidelines.
- Assist to ensure compliance with agreed SLAs.
- Supplier Management:
- Perform regular market analysis and benchmarking, ensuring competitive pricing and value for money.
- Drive supplier relations
- Manage supplier audits and evaluations.
- Drive cost saving initiatives.
- Drive digitalisation and automation projects focused on streamlining buying channels.
- Self-management and self-motivation with high integrity.
- Good verbal, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
