As a Digital Designer at Rapid Images, you'll have the opportunity to work in a creative and collaborative environment, alongside passionate developers and 3D artists. You'll be responsible for creating visually stunning and intuitive digital experiences that meet our clients' and their customers' needs. You'll use Figma and After Effects to design and develop scalable design systems, prototypes, and user journeys.
Role requirements:
- Enthusiastic, hard working and essentially lives and breathes design
- Research and organise information
- Create design scalable design systems in Figma
- Has extensive experience in creating beautiful UI
- Demonstrates great knowledge in typography, colour, composition, motion and layout
- Knows how to prototype using Figma and motion tools like After Effects
- Is able to follow fundamental UX trends and is able to user test their work
- Set art direction and look and feel for branding, interactive and immersive experiences.
- Has the ability to guide developers with mockups and animatics to show how design show look, feel and move when it’s implemented
- Creates and follows design trends and is able to adapt with different design styles
- Has ambitions to create award-winning design work that is valued by peers in the industry
- Be a team player and be able to work with and lead younger talent through projects
- Reports directly to ECD
In addition to your design responsibilities, you'll also mentor younger talent, conduct research, and organise information to ensure the highest quality of design work. You'll report to the Creative Director and collaborate with other designers, developers, and project managers.
