By developing a data platform that will support an ecosystem of OEMs, fleets, recyclers, and remanufacturers, we aim to influence the circular battery market.
As a Backend Developer (all genders) working at Circunomics, you will be part of our team responsible for designing and implementing our cloud-based data analytics platform components. Including the specification and implementation of various APIs for backend microservices and their deployment to our cloud infrastructure.
Your profile
Backend Developer Responsibilities:
- Designing and operating container-based applications
- Troubleshooting and debugging applications
- Creating and enabling technologies systems for public clouds (AWS)
- Writing code and testing, building prototypes, solving issues, profiling, and analysing bottlenecks
- Assessing the efficiency and speed of current applications
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
- Pushing for Improvements in our current applications and infrastructure
- Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents
- Analysing the business requirements and creating technical requirements based on them
- Collaborating with the front-end team
- Participating in code reviews
- Having full responsibility for the feature and providing support on different levels (testing, configuring, and developing)
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Profound knowledge working in projects with PHP
- In-depth understanding of message-based systems, RESTful, API design, microservice architectures, and distributed systems
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL-based database systems and schema designs
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization
- Understanding cloud fundamentals Familiarity with at least one cloud provider
- Ability to write effective tests for the developed functionality
- Ability to write clean, maintainable and understandable code
- Being able to communicate effectively and collaborate with the team
- Experience with Node.js, Python and Serverless
- A degree in computer science or a similar technical field
- Experience with Symfony Framework
- AWS Certifications
- Knowledge in Domain-Driven-Design
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
