A reputable Medical Aid is seeking an IT Infrastructure Team Leader to join their team in Pretoria.
Duties:
- The Infrastructure Team Leader role is to ensure the operation of the infrastructure team within the IT department is streamlined and aligned with the business objectives and operational plan.
- Participate in planning, designing and implementing IT-related activities ICT Infrastructure, as well as provide support for the daily operational activities of operational support services.
- Work collaboratively with other IT department units and staff members, to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the infrastructure and support services for the organisation.
- Participate in identifying, documenting, and implementing policies, procedures, and best practices pertaining to infrastructure and operations support services.
- Responsible for providing high quality and timely IT infrastructure support to ensure the availability, stability, and performance of the company platforms and corporate systems.
Qualifications Required:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Technical Diploma in Computer Science / Engineering / Information Systems or Information Technology or a related Certification
- Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
- VMware Certified Professional
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Server (MCSE)
- Storage area Network (SAN) certification
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years relevant work experience
- Netapp / Pure and Dell Storage experience
- 2-3 years Team Management experience
- Credit and Criminal Clear
- South African born citizen
- Excellent Communications skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: R1.00 - R2.00 per month
