Job Description

This position will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, while also fostering positive employee relations with strong understanding of HR compliance, employment laws, and best practices in employee relations. The HR Compliance and Employee Relations Specialist will work closely with various stakeholders, including HR teams, management, and employees, to maintain a compliant and harmonious work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • HR Compliance:

    • Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards

    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and develop action plans to address any issues

    • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure organizational compliance

    • Provide guidance and support to HR and management teams on compliance-related matters

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees

  • Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a trusted advisor and resource to employees and management on a range of employee relations issues

    • Investigate and resolve employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters in a fair and objective manner

    • Conduct thorough investigations into workplace issues, including harassment, discrimination, and misconduct allegations, ensuring compliance with legal and internal protocols

    • Mediate and facilitate conflict resolution between employees and/or teams

    • Provide guidance on employee performance management, including coaching, counseling, and performance improvement plans

    • Analyze employee relations trends and metrics to proactively identify potential issues and develop strategies for improvement

    • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and programs to foster a positive work culture

  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Prepare reports and metrics on HR compliance and employee relations activities.

    • Create and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and company practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • At least 4- 6 years of proven experience in HR compliance and employee relations roles

  • Solid understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both English and Thai, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
