Northvolt is a European supplier of high-quality battery cells and systems, made in an environmentally sustainable way. The company was founded in 2016 with the mission to build the world’s greenest battery with a minimal carbon footprint and the highest recycling capabilities.
In the plant located in Gdańsk we produce energy storage systems and battery modules that replace internal combustion engines in industrial machines. Currently Northvolt Poland is increasing its manufacturing capabilities by building a highly-automated, state-of-the-art production plant which will focus on production of energy storage systems.
Currently we're looking for Senior Logistics Developer to join our team in Gdańsk. As a company with a long-term expansion plan, we provide the opportunity for long-term cooperation and development within the dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, maintaining and improving our logistics network of components
- Leading setting up the logistics-related business requirements
- Being the main contact person for transportation and warehousing operational set-up and collaboration with the Procurement and Production Planning teams
- Providing input and optimizing the logistics flow and the warehousing strategy for all components
- Creating and optimizing SOPs and work instructions
- Collecting, managing, organizing and analyzing logistical data, seeking improvement possibilities
- Support system implementation (WMS, TMS, ERP)
Skills & Requirements
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain management and planning, Industrial engineer or related field
- 10+ years of experience as a supply chain/logistics developer or specialist with special focus on transportation and warehousing design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel)
- Experience in working with an ERP / WMS/ TMS systems (Preferably MS Dynamics / 365 ERP environment)
- Excellent English and Polish skills, written and oral

- Interested in learning about data, be able to understand exactly what data is and how to collect, analyze, and use it
- Self-motivated and autonomous who enjoy working both in a team and on your own
- A solid relationship builder, connecting well with stakeholders, suppliers and customers, communicating clearly in all directions
- Worked in a multicultural environment before (a big plus)
- Experienced with working in a production environment (also big plus)
